Cheval Collection has defined luxury serviced living in London, Edinburgh and across the Middle East for four decades. Cheval Residences Dubai Islands is not a hotel with residential units bolted on — it is a purpose-built residential community where every unit is designed to owner-resident standards, with Cheval’s hospitality team providing optional services on demand: 24-hour concierge, chauffeur, housekeeping, à la carte dining and more.

This is Cheval’s third Dubai venture and fifth in the Middle East — a market where they have built a loyal client base over 20 years. Developed in partnership with Avenew Development and Wadeen Developers, two experienced UAE development houses.

What makes Cheval Residences different from a standard luxury apartment?+
Cheval Residences are fully branded and operated by Cheval Collection — meaning you own a private home but have access to 24-hour concierge, chauffeur, housekeeping, a residents’ lounge, and the full Cheval à la carte service menu, all managed by a professional hospitality team. A standard luxury apartment gives you the property; Cheval gives you the property plus the staff, systems and brand infrastructure that generates a rental premium and simplifies ownership from anywhere in the world.
Is the Cheval service management mandatory or optional?+
Individual services — concierge, housekeeping, chauffeur, à la carte dining — are available on demand rather than a mandatory daily charge. You engage them as needed. However, the core community management (security, building operations, shared facilities) is managed by Cheval as part of the service charge, ensuring consistent standards across the development. If you choose to place your residence in Cheval’s managed rental programme while not in residence, that arrangement is separate and has its own terms.
Can I rent my Cheval Residence when I’m not using it?+
Yes. As a freehold property, you can rent your residence freely under UAE law. You can self-manage (requiring DTCM licensing for short-term lets, or Ejari registration for long-term tenancies) or enter Cheval’s managed rental programme, which places your property into their serviced accommodation offering — targeting the corporate and leisure market that specifically seeks Cheval-branded product. Managed programme terms are available from Truhauz on request.
How can I buy Cheval Residences from outside the UAE?+
The purchase process is fully remote-capable. Once you’ve selected a unit and agreed terms, the Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) is signed digitally, and payment is made to the developer’s DLD-registered escrow account via international bank transfer. Truhauz coordinates the full remote process — virtual viewings, documentation, payment guidance and Oqood registration in your name. You do not need to visit Dubai to complete an off-plan purchase.
Will the 50% balance at handover be financeable by a UAE bank?+
Yes — at handover in Q1 2029, the Cheval Residences will have DLD title deeds issued and will be eligible for UAE mortgage financing. Non-resident buyers can access up to 60% LTV; UAE residents up to 80% LTV. Given the 2BR starting price of AED 5.1M, this means a non-resident could finance up to AED 3.06M of the purchase via a UAE mortgage at handover, reducing the total cash required to complete the purchase significantly.
