The first building under that name, Shahrukhz by Danube, is a 55-storey <em>commercial<\/em> tower on Sheikh Zayed Road which sold out in a single day for around AED 2.1 billion. This is the residential follow-up, and a different building on a different site: Dubai Maritime City, on the water between Port Rashid and the Dubai Drydocks.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It would be Danube&#8217;s fifth tower at Dubai Maritime City, after Oceanz 1, 2 and 3 and Breez &mdash; a run that tells you the developer has conviction about this peninsula. It was planned as a maritime business cluster and has been rezoned in practice into a waterfront residential district: Emaar, Omniyat, Beyond, DAMAC and Danube all have towers here now. What it offers a buyer is open-sea frontage at a lower entry price than Dubai Harbour or Palm Jumeirah, with Downtown, DIFC and the airport all inside twenty minutes.
